Untitledby cynthiannComment: Now this is different. Looks kinda like the fog filter from color efex but never seen anyone use it before. I suspect you're not going to get many high votes for this image as the postprocessing isn't in a DPC friendly style. It may well work with a different sort of image, (landscape maybe), but not with this one. |

Conflicting Standardsby GeneralEComment: I'm guessing you're highlighting the juxtaposition between the barbed wire and the symbol of the land of the free.
Yes its there but this image doesn't have the visual wow required to do well here at DPC. This site rewards eye candy more so than underlying message and the trick to doing well is being able to combine both. |

Castle of Lord Mby galatia_nComment: I see you've tried something different here but I'm not sure that it works. I'm not sure what the subject is and the title doesn't help much either. If wanting to compete, (and do well), in a free challenge then I suggest may a more DPC typical image next time. |

Intense Kittyby DCrest01Comment: Reminds me a bit of Jackos infamous attempt at a brown ribbon. The framing is good, (even though I hate cat images), but what ever processing you did to the image resulted in a most DPC unfriendly image which will no doubt hurst your score here. |

shadesby tnunComment: I could imagine this image being displayed as a piece of wall art or in a coffee book but unfortunately it's way off the mark for this place. If you are here to seriously compete in the challenges then it's best to avoid submitting these more abstract types of work. |

black skimmersby skewsmeComment: I think you have a very good chance of picking up a posthumous award but as a general rule these type of images will not score well here at DPC. I assume you knew that before submitting though. |

Just walkby JulietNNComment: This looks like an interesting capture and could've made for a nice image but the processing here did little to enhance the submission and I'm guessing will be hurting your score. |

All for oneby raishComment: whiterook maybe? Very similar to his submission in the librodo challenge.
And if it is then I'm sorry to say that there's no Brown for you this time around. |

The Unlucky Oneby h2Comment: My winner of "best egg shot" in the challenge. :)
Shame there was so many other egg shots which would've cost you. |
