I would prefer this one without the tree trunks but nevertheless it works really well. Great colours, the soft lighting helps a lot and the low viewpoint connects us so well with the stag. 9.

Clever idea and well done. The digital "grain" works and so does the tone. 9

The best natural history shot in the challenge. The lighting is superb, the sharpness and focus are there, the composition is spot on and there is plenty of information. 10

Disappointing result! I gave this a 9 and expected to see a top 10 finish. Fantastic lighting and atmosphere.

Agreed, this was one of my favourites... I can't remember why I gave it a 9 instead of a 10. That "water me please" scrawl adds a little something extra.

A lot of people are going to hate this one. I think it is superb. 9 from me. Capturing the movement works so well and so does the sickly lighting. The composition is excellent. I hope this one takes a ribbon.

My only 10 score in this challenge.
The isolation and desolation are really communicated well, the movement of the lorry helps a lot there and the lines of the fence and road leading off to the left into the mountains add an uneasy feeling. This is the only B&W conversion which works really well in this challenge.

This is one of those pictures that makes me forget I'm looking at pixels. So much action and detail. It deserves re-shooting on film :) ... 10 from me.

I hate pictures of children :(
But I voted 10 for the Blue Ribbon in Delicate ... so maybe you'll do well ...
Action, colour, composition, timing, you've got everything here. 10 of course.
