Stormy sunsetby hjolliComment: This is a nice shot. I would have probably rated it higher if the orange wasn't quite so saturated. The building in the bottom left is distracting - a different angle with only the church and the sky would have been more striking. |

F-18 forming vapor burstsby jas0420Comment: I have no idea how you captured this so perfectly, but I'm in awe of your skills! I hope you gave some comments on when, where and how you did this so I can read them after the challenge. |

The Brides Maidby dustin03Comment: Fantastic composition, all the eyes on someone else while the she looks on. Great use of DOF to immediately draw the eyes to her and the flowers (signifying she's next maybe?). One of the best of the challenge (and there's a lot of great pics in this challenge!). |

The Gilded Cageby JesuispeureComment: I can't stop looking at this picture. My head is immediately filled with questions: is she hiding? Is she trying to run away? Is she trapped? Or is she just waiting for someone? The lighting is outstanding, the soft focus is perfect, this is the first 10 I've ever given and my favourite picture ever on this site. |

OMGby AmasonComment: This has got to be one of the best aurora shots I have EVER seen (not to mention scariest - the title says it all!). National Geographic wishes they had taken this picture! |

Innocenceby DamianComment: This is an outstanding portrait, I can't offer any suggestions to improve it. I just hope one day I can shoot something half as good as this. |

Thinkingby longlivenyhcComment: Great use of DOF, draws the viewer directly to the eyes and the obvious intelligence behind them. |

Sunbreakby PhilosComment: This is a stunning image. The only reason I didn't score it higher is because it looks over-processed. It looks like there was so much USM used that white edges appeared around the mills, giving them a more ghostly effect. The effect in itself is cool, but the overall image gives the impression of animation, which, I feel, detracts in this case. (7) |
