I like this photo but it bothers me that the trees aren't upside down like they would be in a reflection.

This isn't bad but I'm not sure the guy haveing a hat on is helping, also the leaves in the foreground would be cool if they were sharp all the to the bottom edge.

wow I cant believe this scored so poorly even though it isn't unexpected. It goes to show sometimes random opinions are worthless. Oh well, good set of shots anyway!

I think you need to compose this slightly differantly. Eliminate some of the right to make it less centered. I dont really find it distracting, maybe its just the fact I have been trained not to center anything. Add a little on the bottem to keep the white water in the photo(it will make a better print without white touching the sides). Its easy to compose to tight on running water because your not really seeing it as it will appear built up.(maybe that wasnt real clear) You may have over done the highlights just a little. If you had any models with you the rock on the right is begging for someone to sit on it. Believe it or not I really like this one, my favorite of the group.

Yes I know its easy to sit back and point stuff out after the fact. And yes I am this hard on my stuff as well.

This one has the makings of a great photo but there is to much. You have the creek, the moss, the rocks, the rock wall, the Mag. tree. Pick 2 and go with it. The rocks in front are to bright making them distracting. You should post some details with these. I'm guessing you used a polorizer but I'm not sure. Sometimes a slightly differant angle with polorize better. You needed it working on the leaves as well as the water. Also there is a dead limb come out from the right, under the leaves in the water, {sometimes you gotta crack a few eggs) climb in and remove.

Your composition seems to make this a very salable photo. I'm not sure the birds are helping being so small but with them there it at least gives you the option. The open sky leaves alot of room for text. The fence in front isn't helping, a higher vantage point would have been great. I'm curious as to if you shot this near 17mm and how straight the right corner of the building is. When I get a shot I really like I make a print and look at it for a few days. The new wears off and I settle into how I really feel about a photo. Try it and let me know how it works for you.

Your subject has conflicting elements! What I mean is I think the subject is the wind mill, maybe the barn but on the right is half a bush competing with the subject.

The photo gods will get you for cutting the front fender off. Also try early or late lighting. The straight up lighting is a bit harsh(to much contrast between light and dark). Nice subject, work it at differant times and see how it goes. good luck

I dont think this would be a great example of "country life" it could well be for someone(seems more coastal to me). However, great photo! Nice lighting, I think slightly lighter clothing might be better. good luck
