Day 24by jmritzComment: Another cracker, John! You are really getting into this floral thing! I like the BG, it makes the flower stand out. Simple is best! One little blossom can be very striking. |

Day 19by jmritzComment: Great Hosta flower, John. I like the BG and the single focus on just the one flowerhead. Keep going! |

Day Eighteenby Bear_MusicComment: A nice composition of an Hypericum, however not the best example to use. The plant is looking battered and worn with no vibrancy. Shallower DOF would have thrown the buds at the back out of focus more. |

Day 17by BradComment: Nice capture Brad. The colouring is super, muted yet so delicate. Very good shot. |

The Blueberry Muffinby jmritzComment: Be different, push the limits :) I look forward to seeing your shots each day John, cos you put a different perspective on the challenge, and you are seeing things all around you. Plus, I like Muffin! Keep going. |

Day 11by jmritzComment: Great shot John! I think is what this challenge is all about, so many different views and perspectives! There is no need for extreme Macro shots when such a stunning scene as this captures the beauty of nature. The blaze of colour leads the eye down alongside the stream. Thanks! Rush Hourby jmritzComment: Good capture, John. The initial impression is of a confusing jumble of buds, but closer inspection reveals good DOF and sharp focus. The blue spikey ones look like alien plants and I love the globular ends to each blue tendril! Message edited by author 2007-07-09 15:10:16. |
