 went down to the Dead Creek boat launch last evening with Isabelle, she threw rocks & I took pictures. It had poured all day so it was also great to get out otf the house & see the sunset!!
I've no idea what these pretty flowers are called, but they sure are pretty!

Great red on the stamen. I like the triangular lines of your composition. Godd detail on the flowers.

Your composition is really good...great lighting, POV, colors, details on those dainty little flowers. The ONLY thing that I can see that I might change is to put a bit more negative space on the left.

Anni, love the composition. And thank you for not cropping out the "over the prime" flower it really makes the shot special. Amen, I agree the lighting is great, the colors beautiful, and you did very fine hand held (obviously not a caffeine junky!).

The late-day lighting is so warm and does change the mood completely to one of calming and relaxing. Great detail and DoF.

They look oriental to me. Something that goes in a chinese carving or the like. They're pretty.
