This, though contrived, comes across as a pyscho-social commentary. It makes me sad and concerned. Both subjects, perhaps the same, deserve better than they are getting. As as a composition it certainly communicates. Design-wise, the two objects could be placed slightly closer together...the foot drawn back slightly to a 1/3 position so as not to ovrwhelm with buckles and staps, and to enhance balance and contrast.

Almost a yin, yang. Increasing the bright / dark contrast a little would inhance the design aspect, I think, as would muting the sharpness of the detail. NIce picture!

A bit too contrived for my taste, but it does get your attention in that you wonder how did they get the feet to show with sand intact...then you think of ways.

Crop vertically, right iside, just left of the patella, and I think you will have a work of art. Yes the blues in the water match the denim very nicely, but proportionately there is eough of it already without the big patch of blue jean. Otherwise, beautiful colors! Cropping would also direct the eye to the focus which is feet. Re: title...simply "After a Long Hike" would be enough, as the picture tells the rest and very well!

Nice colors. I love the green under the feet and the way the dark brings up the light . Maybe a little too close up though. Back off just a little to more closely follow the rule of thirds in balancing out background vrsus foreground and light versus dark. Great title and conveyed well by the the picture which showsthe feet hovering. The texture of the stone is shown to advantage.

I like this photo! It has a number of things going for it. First, it reflects the rule of thirds in a number of ways including space devoted to textures, space devoted to colors, and foreground vs background space. Together they create a nice rythym as well as balance throughout the whole. I like the way the viewer can see the water from the side; also the sharp contrast the black badkground provides for the complementary shades of flesh vs medium blue. The action goes well with the title. Lovely foot model. Criticism: I would like to see the top cropped ever so slightly...not a lot, to perfect the balance.

Very nice! I like the way the light is shining through the salt and both are reflected in the surface they sit on. Without the title one might no know what it all was.

Very nice. Sort of a yin yang with attitude.
