 Big thanks to my sister for being my "foot model"! (And yes, the water really was cold!)

Shot through a fish tank with a black background and blue foam core angled to be below the water line.

Taken with a tripod-mounted 70-200/2.8L IS.

Hey Eddie: A big and loud congratulations on "It's freezing!" taking the blue. I notice you colored it the color of the ribbon you earned.
It is a clear and slick image with great water movement and of course, the great EddyG lighting and the extra wet, almost oil like high glitter of the feet. A great water action shot with that cool effervescent dispersion. A great addition to any port.

While there's some nice stopped motion here the shot itself does not hold my attention for very long. I also think your freeze had to be absolute - no motion blur at all. your title does not particulalry echo the image for me since it doesn't look very cold, but more like a soothing bath. Nicely composed.

Very good shot and idea, it would have been even better with the foot sharper, maybe a faster shutter speed was needed.

The blue is a bit surreal, but the reast of the shot is just lovely, especially the shine across the top of the foot. great water motion. How big is your aquarium? 8

I really like the contrast between the blue and the black, and the shine the water gives to the foot is outstanding. This is some nice work.

I like this photo! It has a number of things going for it. First, it reflects the rule of thirds in a number of ways including space devoted to textures, space devoted to colors, and foreground vs background space. Together they create a nice rythym as well as balance throughout the whole. I like the way the viewer can see the water from the side; also the sharp contrast the black badkground provides for the complementary shades of flesh vs medium blue. The action goes well with the title. Lovely foot model. Criticism: I would like to see the top cropped ever so slightly...not a lot, to perfect the balance.

the highlights and shadows on the foot could have been stronger but the water is excellently captured!

The way the foot almost glistens is amazing, the water is bluer than blue, and I really enjoy how part of the frame is underwater. This is a 10 to me.

Superb idea and nice capture. I'm more concerned what you did after the shot though, colors seem a bit "too vivid", skin a bit like plastic. Black background is perfect.
