Wounded Branchby TheresaAComment: Ok, the very same thing as everything else here. Nothing to set it apart from the others. |

Submergedby InnaNComment: the hills are too dark, and the sky is too light and hazy. The shadows are very undefined, and it may also seem as though nothing really pops in this photo. Very unorganized mood, for a very organized setting. Hope this helps, GL. |

One Branch To Bind Them Allby JaimesonComment: Im not a huge fan of powerlines on a sunset, to tell you honestly it ticks me off most of the time. There is a ton of noise in the sky too, and the colors though pretty in spectrum really have no definition to them whatsoever. I hope this helps, and GL to you in the challenge. |

Dogwood Two-Ferby SJCarterComment: Now this one has pretty colors overall, but the fungus on the leaves and the overall amount of content is overwhelming. GL. |

Black Forestby chnkymlkComment: Boring, and busy, at the same time if that makes any sense. There is just nothing to set it apart and the colors are all deep in the boring range. |

Close Encounterby kenaComment: Boring, there is just to many of these pictures in the challenge, and nothing to set it apart from all the others. |

join the fun!by myceliumComment: Owe my, beautiful colors, and great portrait. You have quite a bit of pixel explosion going on by my monitor, but I know from experience that happens with the re-sizing most of the time so Im not counting that against you. GL, and by the way your model here is stunning.
-I just went back to adjust my final scores, and this is my top rated photo aside one other, so GL. I have looked at this photo over and over, and can't put my finger on what it is you have nailed here that nobody else has. The model is stunning, I love her playful expression. The colors are dynamite, the lighting is awesome. The clarity, and depth are good, but there is just something else that really sends it over the top for me. Maybe its the non-border, and the portraiture part of it. There wasn't many portraits out there, so maybe thats what seperates it. At any rate....Im a huge fan of whatever it is you have done. |

Sunlight branchingby burtctComment: A fantastic shot, I don't want to take that from you. I may even consider buying a print if it was available, and I could secure the funds. OK, now having said that, it does not seem to branch to me. I read the title and I understand where your coming from, but to give this an incredible score I would be taking away from the people that busted their but to get a good "branch" photo. Still in the better half of the challenge. GL. |
