Not what I would consider a formal studio portrait, but it is definitely an interesting photograph. I'm curious as to how you achieved the shot.

Not what I would consider a formal studio portrait, but you have defininately made your point well. The lighting is nice (for what you're trying to achieve) but I find the light area in the upper right corner distracting from the rest of the photo.

Despite the fact that the challenge clearly stated the photo should be of a person, I think this is a great shot. The accessories are nice, but the straw hat is a bit too bright and detracts from the rest of the photo.

Despite the fact that the challenge clearly stated the photo should be of a person, I think this is an interesting shot. The lighting is quite harsh, though and not typically what you would find in a studio type portrait. Perhaps a little light on his/her face so that there would have been a reflection in the eyes would have helped to brighten up the photo a bit.

Despite the fact that the challenge clearly stated the photo should be of a person, I think this is a great shot. The lighting is very nice and the catchlights in his/her eyes are wonderful. I do think that his/her whole body should have been in focus instead of just the head. Had the subject only been a person, I would have scored much higher.

This is a beautiful, timeless photograph! Wonderful job. My only complaint is that her face is so shadowed. I like the bright side light, but a soft glow on her face would have made it perfect.

This is a great photograph. I love the lighting and the soft warm hues on her skin. But, I would prefer her shoulders to be in focus, and to show more of her instead of just her head.

Perfect! I love everything about this picture. The white chair on the white background really allows you to focus on the subject. Great!

The lighting and composition is great in this photo. My only complaint is that the POV is too low.
