My Babyby LesleyNelsonComment: I love Chihuahuas. This is a great shot of yours. Good choice of backdrop and good pose. I like the out-of-focus feet at the bottom of the frame, as well. Great job. |

just hangin' outby hopperComment: The best of the snake photos IMO. Your use of the climbing rope adds some color, which was a very good idea. The snake's head haning out over the black background is a nice "pose." The point of focus seems to be more toward the center of the frame, however, and to my eye the head and tongue seem to be somewhat more soft than I would prefer. Still a great picture. Thanks for posting it! |

A Face Only A Mother Could Loveby buzzrockComment: I don't know about this thing being a pet, but it is a great picture. Your title is right on the money, too. Good DOF and crop, IMO. I could live without the odd little feathers coming out of the bottom left leg area since they are out of focus. There is also an odd little whisp coming off one of the upper feathers on the left side of the pic. Might have cloned that out. Anyway, great subject. After all the cats and dogs, it was nice to see a baby bird. |

Magical Moment of a Puppy at Playby MontereykiddoComment: The light in this is fantastiic; The color of the water is prefect. Unfortunately, the dog's face seems to be relatively in shadow as a result of the bright background. Still a great pic and one of my top pics. |

Strike a Poseby typologicComment: One of the best cat shots, IMO. Your pose was unique and the focus is great. I would have preferred a different backdrop or at least more color contrast between the cat and the backdrop. As it is, it takes a minute to decide where the cat stops and the backdrop begins. Anyway, it is a great shot as it is. |

Inquisitive Aussiesby clarmoreComment: Excellent photo. One of my top picks. I especially like the way all the colors work together. In that particular color range, this is a rare feat, IMO. Good job getting the dogs to cooperate as well. My personal experiences with photographing multiple dogs have been hectic ones. I suppose well mannered dogs make the difference, but you did a great job with this great looking duo. |

Fierce Eyesby rebelgirlComment: On of my top pics. Great eyes. The only minor quibble I have with this picture is the bottom left corner. The detail seems to have been adjusted using a filter (whether this is a natural or post-processing effect, I don't know), which is not consistent with the look on the other cheek. Honestly, I kind of like the effect on the bottom left. Anyway, great crop, great subject, great job! |

Clydeby DJFriarComment: Great look on the cat's face and the arms crossed are perfect. Too bad about the distractions in the background (i.e., the guy sitting on the couch). |
