| I don't know about this thing being a pet, but it is a great picture. Your title is right on the money, too. Good DOF and crop, IMO. I could live without the odd little feathers coming out of the bottom left leg area since they are out of focus. There is also an odd little whisp coming off one of the upper feathers on the left side of the pic. Might have cloned that out. Anyway, great subject. After all the cats and dogs, it was nice to see a baby bird. |

| Can't determine if this is real or fake--will judge as if it's real, in which case I think it's a very dramatic image between the lighting and shooting from below! |

I do hope he/she grows up to be a bit prettier than this.
The DOF should have been bigger, but I like the background.
