Bright, Green, and Slimy!by basia03Comment: I'm not sure how much of the neon was added, especially since both the rock and the underside of the lip are about the same color, but it just didn't look very natural to me. And, as an overall image, it didn't grab me and make me want to sit there and admire the neon color. I also would have liked a plainer background without all the distracting speckles. Sorry, but them's just my preferences. |

Ouchby arnigunnarComment: Lifelike color, slightly out of fucus, good background contrast. I only rated it a "2" because it just didn't grab my attention and hold it - and the neon was both weak and "a band aid?" Might go good with a drug store ad though. Sorry. Just my opinion. |

Bright Eyesby WarbyComment: Nice photo, but the eyes don't appear truly "neon" and the overall subject ends up being, an owl? Just didn't seem to fit for me. |

Knee On Lightsby GeneralEComment: I rated this a "1" because I was looking for neon as a color - not as a play on words. Cute thought, but I don't think it fits at all. Just my opinion. |

DIY Neonby digistouneComment: Oragami? Not sure what the original material is, but the abstract image is really attractive and sort of relaxing. Colors complement nicely and I like the black recesses for contrast. Gives your eyes some lines to follow and isn't really busy or "in your face" like lots of other images. |

Compact Disc Abstractby duncesComment: This is such a simple, but powerful image. The shapes and colors complement each other greatly, and contrast nicely with the depth of the black background. Nice image. Only possible recommendation from this viewpoint is to blend more smoothly the transition from dark purple to pink on the left side. There are almost some vertical bars on the left edge which show on the image as it displays on my screen. But - it's one of my favorites. |

Tiny Dancersby DarkRiderComment: Such a fascinating compostion. Those drops just seem to hang there, don't they. The colors, the swirls, the ripples, the contrasts - they all work together so well. Forget any comments about lack of focus, this is an excercise about color, contrast, movements, etc. I really enjoy watching it. |

Neon Gracieby parrotheadComment: Oh, man! What neat features. Beautiful child. Like the way the light from the circle highlights the side of face. Confused though: what is the light? Small distortions at top of it are distracting. Don't understand white arcs on right and left either. Seems to be some kind of small band along left side of red arc which is slightly distracting also. |

bamboo and marblesby claudia26Comment: Interesting, but... 50% of the interest is "non-botanical". I like the image, but I'd crop off the container across the bottom. Doesn't add anything. The abstract nature of the marbles is cool. |
