Before and Afterby maharrisComment: I love the brightness and colour of this image. The effect is bright and cheery. I would suggest that perhaps the right strawberry could be turned a little to show a bit more red. Also I would leave a little more white space on each side and add a simple border. Love the colour and texture though. |

gadiveby fstopopenComment: hmmm. I can't actually tell what it is. It is interesting however it doesn't grab my attention and I can't make the connection to the challenge. I'm curious to know what it is. |

Marbled Chocolateby biggood53Comment: Good idea. I think a few simple things could really improve this image. A neater surface for the subject like a board or table top that wouldn't get ripples in it. I think if the image included more of the hand and a bit of the wrist it would balance the composition more. It looks like you used a flash making the lighting a bit sharp. I think a light setup to one side would create some interesting shadows across the surface and would reduce the white dots on the chocolates. I also would have focused the camera on the chocolates at the front of the shot. The way you placed the chocolates works for me creating a nice "random balance." |

Cupful of Caloriesby dalee18Comment: I like the colour combinations in this image. The light is a bit flat for my liking. I think a lower light could have added some more shadows and detail into the little white chocolates. I think the central composition works. I would have added a little more room all round and added a border. |

making balanceby JohannesFrankComment: This is a really inspiring image. The subject looks quite monolithic which gives the image an almost science fiction type feel. The composition is stunning with the cloud where it is and the use you have made of the light is very clever. This would make an excellent poster. |

... on one leg ...by GordonComment: Really cool use of the subject matter. The colours are awesome. The composition is excellent. There is nothing subtle about this and it works really well. Even the seam down the middle of the flamingo's head adds to the "drama". I wouldn't hang it on one of my walls but I'm sure there's a night-club or trendy cafe that would. Well Done. |

human balanceby brunasComment: This shot creates a really idyllic sence of ballance. The composition really helps to push the subject matter. The colour and lighting are almost surreal in nature. A beautiful image. |

Long Way To Goby Links 2 3 4Comment: Very interesting shot. The lighting and focus are excellent. I would have cropped this image in about 2 inches all the way around. This would remove the foreground trees and make the subject look like a giant against the sky and the houses. Great shot though. |

Nature's Balancing Actby LVEComment: Great idea and beautiful image. All I could suggest is that perhaps a simple border might work well to help "contain" the subject matter. |
