Surrealityby AleciaComment: Very odd, creepy but a very cool shot. Nice to see you got validated, obviously a great deal of thought went into this. |

We might need a vanby MAKComment: It took me a second, but very funny :) I wish it was a little more focused, the graininess makes it hard to grasp right away, but a nice moment you captured. |

The Wheel of Lightby rickypregoComment: I like your idea, maybe try pulling back to capture the whole wheel, and a tripod with a longer exposure would add some ambient light to bring out the detail despite the nightime setting. |

Extraordinary Beak of a Finchby dinotechComment: I dunno, the finch doesn't look very happy here! I like your idea, and the image quality is very good, and I'm sure you are very careful with the animal, but it does kind of look like you're crushing it. I'm not voting down for that or anything, just thought I'd let you know what people might think. |

Extraordinarily loud by shoylesComment: Very cool, I think you will ribbon with this one. Love to know how you got the shot. I like the idea, I like the execution, I even like the odd framing. My only critique is I wish it were a teensy bit sharper. |

Seattle's new Public Libraryby cabaComment: It's hard to say how I feel here, I agree with your idea, and I like the light/shadow technique, but the architecture comes off here as busy and the DOF is a little shallower than I would like. Maybe if you deepened it to bring the whole image into focus the floor area could balance the architecture more? |

Got pink?by WildpurpleComment: I hope that's not natural, I don't want any mutant crickets in my house :) Nice and sharp, but a bit too dark, the cricket looks like it's floating in front of the bar rather than standing on it. I like the detail you captured in the cricket's body. |
