This is a nice idea, I like the curve. Could use a tad more DOF, the items in the window are slightly OOF, and the image is pretty dark.

4.0 megapixels and smaller than a deck of cards. Don't leave home with out it.

This is a bit dark, the camera disappears on the left edge. Nice idea and execution, though.

I think this is a perfect shot marred only by unbearable graininess. The textured background should offset the sleek, smooth pens, but they are so grainy that they don't stand out as is. Not sure if this was to do with post processing or not, but try to reprocess it if so. I love the pose, the simplicity, everything else, just the graininess bothers me.

It's a nice image, if a bit dark (I know you're going for atmosphere) but I'm not sure this would appeal as an ad for Time. The reds on the borders of the mags blend together a bit, but otherwise the focus is good, nice weave detail. Would the target audience for Time respond to this ad though?

A nice idea, but ok execution. The can is placed too far out of the water, so it looks more like it is floating than being drenched. The sharpness and detail are really nice, but more foam in the water or a deeper depth for the can would have made the refreshing idea more believable. Maybe just dropping the can in the stream and shooting it as it was pulled along would have given you a more active shot.

Nice setup, but I would remove the coffee cup. Seems a tad over-sharpened. Nice image.

Very crisp shot, nice sheen. I like the motion, but I wish you had held the whole camera in the shot. The floor has an odd texture that reflects on the bottom of the camera as well.

Cool shot, very nice composition (not that he was posing or anthing!) and color, with excellent sharpness and detail.

Out of context, I don't know why this is extraordinary. Maybe a more descriptive title would help, cause the image is very pretty, I just don't know why it qualifies for the challenge.
