Mirror, mirror....by stupidcatComment: Novel idea for this challenge and quite fitting. I'm fascinated that the reflection is 'upside down', which holds my attention. Only detracted by the bottles etc behind and around the mirror. By you having centred the main image I feel it could be suggestive of the lens of a camera with an image captured within it. |

Looking throughby JinjitComment: Super idea! The lighting (and the framing) and the focus really works for me on this one. I'd have been tempted to crop a bit tighter though, if it was mine. An 8. |

Susandianeby qmdiComment: No doubts about this meeting the challenge and the use of an old tyre to frame the boats works really well. The focussing seems spot on. I'd like to see a few less things in it though, it seems a bit 'busy'. |

Old Fenceby Keith-Comment: An unusual framing at an unusual angle. I like it. Lovely tones of green (and wood) and light and shade. |

Separation of Church and Carby boomerComment: Clear photo and at an unusual angle. The car door provides a light summery frame. The red truck creates a bright splash of contrast and creates a sense of 'depth'. A strange, unusual, thought provoking image. |

Make a Wishby Faye PekasComment: A WISH
Make a wish, just one wish,
and hope it comes true.
See the scene of a dream
the one that's for you.
Take a breath, purse your lips,
then blow steadily
on the light fluffy seeds
spread out readily.
Watch them dance on the breeze
and fly on their wing,
see them twirl in the air
while they're journeying.
May the seeds and the wish
find land and take root
and the right kind of care
to flower and to fruit.
Sorry - couldn't resist. Perfect photo to go with this poem I once wrote! |
