Comment:
too much noise & saturation on the woman.

The lighting is interesting but it's hard to make out whhere the light is coming from , what's behind here, and what she's looking up at.

The woman is too centered, there is too much sky
I like the palm coming out the edge of the frame.
The exposure is off, and the everything looks flat.

I like this photo because it grabs me in a couple of different ways.

At first glance it's moody and very graphic but upon realizing the little fish eyes in the midst of the motion blur, it takes on a whimsical nature. The fish look like eels with their motion blur extensions.

One thing I would like to see is more action at the top 2/3 of the frame and a concentration of fish eyes off center. I say this because although this photo has a lot of great movement, it is a bit static because the focus is at the bottom third of the frame and is front and center.

Thumbs up for creativity and going outside the norm.

Keep taking great shots!

All the best,

I like the juxtaposition of the tough dad and little girl. It̢۪s nice that the future plumber is off center; this positioning keeps the viewers eye's moving and engaged. I like the view in the angle of the dad's elbow.

I would have liked to see this image with the elbow in full and the person beside the man out of the frame.

Unfortunately the sky is a blown out, which can easily happen when:

Shooting in as contrasty environment as you were (shade and dark subjects contrasted against a sunny sky);

Shooting on automatic which caused your camera to meter the setting's light metering which unfortunately isn't great, regardless of the quality of the camera. I'm guessing your camera's light meter took a reading from the dark tones of the girl and man and because they were dark tried to adjust the exposure so that light would reach these subjects so they would be visible. When this happens, the camera exposes the sky as if it were also dark and since it's not, it becomes blown out—the only way to really fix this problem is to use a hand held light meter, or take a bunch of test shots and find the right shutter and aperture for your scene which is surely the more cost effective approach;

Also, I would guess you are probably shorter than the man, based on the angle, maybe if you had stepped back a bit you wouldn't have had to angle your camera up so much and therefore could have avoided including the sky in the shot.

Great photo! Keep it up!

Cheers and all the best,
