Brassby crisComment: The lighting could be much more interesting here. Seems like just a snapshot of a trumpet, the shadows are distracting. Also, the photo seems pretty grainy for such controlled conditions. Maybe a concious choice? |

Grand Finaléby BradComment: Very dissappointed to not see this shot do better. I think it's fantastic, great dynamic range, good composition, and so sharp for the smoke. I also don't dig the red frame, but still gave this shot an 8. Keep it up! |

Back to basicsby kosmikkreeperComment: the shadows in this one are distracting. And the geek in me cries out that the tin-can phone won't work unless the line is drawn taught. It looks like his shirt is coming untucked in an odd way. :) But a technically good shot, great expression captured. |

Over & Outby jjbeguinComment: oof...I'm afraid this very good picture won't do to well in this challenge. the title is too subtle, I fear. But maybe DPCers will prove me wrong! I wish the perspective weren't slightly askew on this, but a fantastic mood is captured here. |
