Salut Yanik !
C'est une belle photo même si tu es arrivé 16ième. Maintenant, c'est à ton tour de venir voir celle de Laurent (yoman) dans le concours school days sous le nom de road of october.

One of my faves for sure, 10 all the way - love his expression, love the blue tones, love the humor, best string'n'can shot I've seen! |

Yessiree... those wireless cans are all the rage these days. Nice one, Yanik. |

Very good composition and lighting. The idea is pretty cool. The white shirt, white rope, white border and a dark background makes very good balance. |

This is pretty cool, but the harsh light on the collar is distracting |

Of all the can on a string ones, this is the best. 7 |

Of all the numerous 'telecan' shots this is one of my faves...i only wish the light source was a bit higher and more towards the front so that the harsh shadows didn't go across the face and body sideways and perhaps the lighting can be diffused more...otherwise nice concept, composition and color! |

This concept is very common but the single colour tone is best. Lighting from left is very good. Model is impressive. This photo should be crop from approx. center of rope because there is a spot of the light on the left side is highlighted .. or it should be blur properly. Best photo. 10 |

I found this image to be an excellent commentary on where we are headed as a society.... I wonder if it might have been even stronger, were a child have been used as a model rather than an adult male?
His seated body language shows him at ease, and natural... I loved the lighting, and composition, the shadows fell nicely onto his body and face. The lighting also does a nice job rimming the cell phone/pda. I alos like the cool appeal of the Van Dyke Blue toning. Really fantastic stock photo!

I like the color on this! Good idea and quality shot, but I wonder if the number of can shots will bring it down. Good luck to you! |

The coloring is really nice, and I love the lighting here. The idea is great, and communicated excellently in the photo. I'd say the only thing really missing is a split-dress on the model with a more modern look on his left and an older look on his right. |

Definitely one of the better "can-on-a-string" photographs in the challenge. The duotone is just a little too strong for me, but I love the lighting. Great contrast between the two forms of communication devices here. Overall, a strong image, amusing, and well shot. Good work. |

Getty Images style :) Among all the cans in this challenge, this one has some idea behind it. The blink on the right is a bit disturbing. 7. |

Very unique point of view, going from can and string to a palm pilot. Great ideas. |

the shadows in this one are distracting. And the geek in me cries out that the tin-can phone won't work unless the line is drawn taught. It looks like his shirt is coming untucked in an odd way. :) But a technically good shot, great expression captured. |

Very good use of rather saturated subject in this challenge. Absolutely love this idea, composition and processing. The only bit I am uncomfortable with is the bit of light on his cheek + collar area where it's rather bright.
It's a great shot. Well done. Best of luck. |
