Life is like a box of chocolates ...........by boomeraklComment: Hmm, the rest of the saying is "you never know what you're going to get" except these all have wrappers on them so you do know. But I quibble...
That said, I like the angle and the vibrant colors. I know how hard it is to evenly expose things like plastic/shiny wrappers. Good work. 7 |

On the Lambby lawreeComment: Far too blurry and not in a stylistic way. The baby's expression and posture are great though and I like the composition otherwise. |

Does Not Meet Challengeby amandaloreComment: Brilliant ... I'm not personally familiar with the phrase (hah!)
I like the choice you made with the cereal base to be colorful and textured. A little more DOF might have made it pop a bit more. 7 |

The grass is greener on the other sideby M.O.C.Comment: Wonderful! Not only is it a photo where the grass is greener on the other side of the fence, there's a commentary made on the phrase because even cattle get it!
I love the evidence of weight by the way the fence is cutting into the neck. I wish the angle was just a little bit more along the fence line, but I bet it wasn't an easy shot to get. 7 |

Water Under The Bridgeby lanterComment: A nice bucolic image. It doesn't really lend more to the phrase than the literal words.
As a composition, I find the darkness in the lower right a little distracting. |

Not playing with a full deckby LalliSigComment: A really inventive take on this challenge. There are a number of sayings that could fit this photo (elevator doesn't go to the top, a quart shy of a gallon, etc.) but it all works.
I might have liked one more item to push the incongruity of this woman's life. The shot is great, I love the moodiness of the lighting, her dress and the DOF. 8 |

An Army Of Oneby bravo sixComment: Besides the camo top, I'm not really get the idea of army or what she might be fighting against/for ... there's just no context (maybe if it was fashioned more like a recruitment poster). Maybe she needs a hat.
The photo is wonderfully shot, the tones and colors are great. |

Walking on Air...by SavannahComment: What a fun shot! The position of the legs really carries the relationship to the image. The colors are wonderfully vibrant and even though there's a lot of blue, it's all wonderfully distinguished. |
