Simple Liveby SiggikalliComment: Outstanding interior shot, really feels warm and cozy. I think the borders way too big though. 8 |

Menina Belaby idnicComment: While all four shots are nice, I find these even more striking when the small images are detail shots of, for example, just her eyes or mouth. Something that highlights different traits or moods. |

Contemplation by dwterryComment: Fantastic portrait. Composition, expression, lighting, editing...you name it, all right on point. I keep looking for something wrong and can't find anything...aka 10. |

Friday Harbor Lighthouseby jblaylockraynerComment: I like the way you perfectly framed the lighthouse but feel this would be much more powerful cropped into a square. You could litterally lose the entire top half of the frame and this would greatly improve the photo. The true subject is the harbor and lighthouse so why bother including so much of the tree you're using to frame the subject. 6 |

Old-and-New-Windmill-2325.jpgby Monique64Comment: Overall a decent image. While this may not even be possible, I would rather see the new windmill in the foreground because the pattern it creates in the sky is far more interesting than the single tail on the old one. The tones are nice, lots of texture. I would consider burning in the trees way off in the distance, they just seem too artificially bright. The composition would benefit from being slightly lower to really seperate the far windmill instead of having it split by the horizon. I could be wrong but it looks like you did some dodging up on the windmill tail in the sky and created a little halo. I like the idea of dodging that dark spot but I'd be careful to not let it effect any of the surroundings. Hope this helps, I try to leave real comments rather than 'nice pic'. Have a good day. |
