I thionk this would be improved if we could see the dog's eyes - they are dark and don't have a catchlihjt to give them life, and the nose ssmes to be more in focus.

I think this could be improved by moving the camera slightly to the right, or cropping to the left, to make more of the subject. It also appears a little out of focus.
