Slow Down – Stop holding on so tightby mrblobbyComment: That's some really interesting lighting you used (assuming this hasn't been tweaked.) I look forward to reading the description and techniques for it. Compositionally, you've captured a lot of movement and action. However, for a "feeling" of letting go, I'd imagine the car farther along with the streaks behind it. *shrug* Still fun. |

gone foreverby neilmwilsonComment: I like how you've composed the elements here, especially how the hand is small and based at the bottom center. However, it's an action of "letting go", not a "feeling" as the contest specified. Oh well. Still a pleasant photo. :) |

My way of letting the old goby AFViperComment: You've got a very cool sense of motion and "impending doom", but it feels like the photo is lacking in vibrance. The composition is pretty straight on and nothing (other than the hammer) pops out at the viewer. Maybe white posterboard for the mat instead of cloth? *shrug* There's a lot to play with. |

Leavingby GolferDDSComment: Wait. What? You're not letting the door handle drop to the floor?
*grin* Sorry, I'm jaded.
Very nice work here, I love symmetry for one. The "cold" tone heightens the emotional impact and the fact that a lot is hidden from view really just leaves it to our imagination. :) Thanks for making something that kept my eye. |

Losing Gripby honey26914Comment: NIce smooth lighting & colors, fun shadow play, and good use of different ages (hands), but ... nothing too eye capturing of original for the theme. |

A New Life For Herby melongrindComment: Woohoo! Someone capturing the theme...and original about it. :) My only suggestion for the photo would be working with the angle a bit more. It's not quite tilted and and it's not quite dead on; it's distracting trying to work that out in the mind.
Still, very nice. :) 9. |

Bitter goingby Reza1968Comment: I think I see the idea your going for, but the execution feels rough and could use some work. (ie, lighting, and the overlays/long exposure make it a bit confusing.)
