22nd.... I am pretty wrapped with that. Considering this was literally last minette and I just did 4 or 5 snap shots of letting this wind up car go and then nearly getting sprung (I have been told I am spending way to much time and effort into these comps, so I did it while the wife was in town.). Adjusting the colour and posting an hour before the deadline.
I was told it looks like I am catching the carâ¦I KNOW! I am not blind ;) but the toy is a wind up one and can not go backwards, all my other toy cars are huge and wouldnât fit into my had.
I also wanted the âletting goâ theme to have a more significant meaning for this picture hence the âSlow Down â Stop holding on so tightâ title which translates to. âI am addicted to speed and I need to let goâ hence the fast WRX :) ⦠I was going to make the title âletting go of the chance of my dream driveâ but hell! I am driving one so it wouldnât make sense.

| These shots look better if you start with the car far away and then roll it to your hand. As it is, it looks as the car is travelling backwards. |

Looks like the car is rushing into the hand to me, not being "let go" of by the hand. But, that aside, I like the color choice, the reflections from the table, and the hand positioning. The background is distracting with the two colors.

| That's some really interesting lighting you used (assuming this hasn't been tweaked.) I look forward to reading the description and techniques for it. Compositionally, you've captured a lot of movement and action. However, for a "feeling" of letting go, I'd imagine the car farther along with the streaks behind it. *shrug* Still fun. |

| I might have done this a bit in reverse -- the effect you have produced makes it look like the car is speeding backwards into your hands, rather than being "let go." |

| I like your title - great metaphor for the theme. I think a different symobl would have really gotten me connected to your message. Technically a fine shot, good use of cropping and composition |
