Sweeter than the Rosesby qnjtComment: Monitors could be at fault but I think the flowers look more blue than purple. Also, I think some additional lighting on the front flower would help as well as some overall sharpening. |

Spinning On That Dizzy Edgeby mocabelaComment: I really like the composition of this photo and the shallow DOF really adds a dreamy quality to this image. To make it really stand out, you might try a little dodging on the forefront flower - or perhaps you could have employed a flash to highlight your main subject? |

Wild Beautyby cardinalmomComment: Nice shallow DOF effect - maybe a wee bit of sharpening on your subject would bump this image to the next level. |

EGGplantby charmayneComment: I like the subject of your photo. To make this image stand out you might try burning in the fence in the background as it can be a little distracting. The lighting seems a little on the flat side as well. |

Go Big or Go Home!by BassieComment: Very interesting capture! You did a very good job with freezing the action in this shot. IMO a flash might have aided in bringing more focus on your subject. However, not knowing how close you were able to get to the action, a flash might not have been feasable. You might try dodging one of the cyclists for more impact or perhaps try the 'shadow and highlight' tool in PS CS (assuming you have it).

Garlic Blossoms (scapes from planet earth)by KaDiComment: I really enjoy looking at this shot. The lines and curves are very elegant. The lighting is perfect. This is the kind of photograph that I like to see when voting on a challenge - alot of thought and work went into it obviously. I am looking forward to the end of the challenge so that I can find out how you made this amaizing image. |

Mayor of Dogvilleby ellamayComment: If you're going to do a portrait of a pet this is the way to do it. To make it even better, add some fill light in front to catch the eyes. |

flirtaceous. by theodor38Comment: This is excellent! I love portraits that reveal personality and show some creativity on the part of the photographer. The total opposite of your typical Olan Mills portrait where everyone has a weird "stepford wife" smile on their face. Good job! |
