Wow! Thank you Brad! I was really pleased with my entry and happy so many others liked it. I'm afraid my challenge work runs hot and cold at the moment.
I should clear up the name thing. (I entirely forgot what was in my profile or I would have changed it if I thought I'd make the top 10.) Lily is the name of one of my cats, her brother is Tiger. I like to mess around with my profile name so this week I'm "Lily Meister". That replaced "Thread Killer" once I stopped killing all the threads I spoke to . Who knows what it'll be next week... But I'll stick with KaDi here, if you don't mind. |

This was one of the most graceful & beautiful shots I have seen in a long time. Should have been in the top 5 in my opinion.

Very interesting botanical.... black back (foam core?) is excellent to show and isolate the intricate structure of the plant growth. Superior specimen.

| I really enjoy looking at this shot. The lines and curves are very elegant. The lighting is perfect. This is the kind of photograph that I like to see when voting on a challenge - alot of thought and work went into it obviously. I am looking forward to the end of the challenge so that I can find out how you made this amaizing image. |
