Electric Fragilityby moodvilleComment: Hi Moodville. Hi think that many photographer starting with many should try to learn a lot from your flower shot. They're so different. This one is perfect. I just don't know what to say. How can you get an image as sharp as this. Congrats. |

flower_0036by cbellerComment: That one is really hot. I like the composition. It's hard to get a good composition shooting flowers. The only negative point is about DOF wich don't seem to be deep enough to get all the flower in focus. Great image. |

Loveby BobsterLobsterComment: That shot is awesome. The DOF is perfect. The backgroung is perfectly saturated and dark enough to let the flower really "stand out" of the image. Congratulation. I added it to my favorites. |

good night elizabethby fstopopenComment: And we have ourselves a... winner!! Seriously, if there was no word stronger than "perfect" because of a lack of need, I really think we have a situation here. Congratulation for (I hope) a blue ribbon. In my opinion, maybe the best photo ever on DPC. (10) |

Polly Wanna Cracker?by hstegComment: The capture in itself is very good. perhaps some backgroung will help add... something to your photo. (6) |

Retired after 50 yearsby Ecce_SignumComment: Hi Andy. I like this photo very much. If I'm allowed to make some suggestions. 1st: SEPIA, 2nd It look a little like a partial crop from a bigger photo but this can be from dowsizing too. If it's from downsizing, I think it's maybe from a 5% step dowsizing. the 5% step technique may do a good job for UPSIZING, but for downsizing it's really no good as most photo will come aggressive looking in the details like this one. 3rd If it's possible get your pole in the middle straight, as an anchor in your photo. 4th make a print of that one. |

Hawthorn Flowers, Glasgow South Side & The Kilpatrick Hillsby TallblokeComment: Your background is not in focus, so your DOF is not so deep. getting a few steps back without zooming in, getting your flower in focus in the same way you did and cropping tighter to get the same image would have work with this one. Besides you photo is really great. |
