set up one of Peppers perches outside of his cage. Taped a white cloth to the wall behind. Pointed my sony external flash up at the ceiling, and had my dad feed pepper some pumpkin seeds.

I love this picture. I had a quacker for 30 something years. His name was Gimli (yes, from Lord of the Rings, when I originally read it in the 1970s). He died a year ago this past April. I loved that bird. They all look so so similar--it's like looking at my Gim again. Thanks.

The capture in itself is very good. perhaps some backgroung will help add... something to your photo. (6)
