literal representationby kevip6Comment: Remind me of a shot I posted in a challenge a few years ago. Interesting and clever. Maybe a little on the oversharpened side . |

One House, Two Houseby EstimatedEyesComment: This is a very interesting shot. The focus is maybe slightly ahead of the second water drop and it's a little spoiler. It would have worked so much better for me if the second drop and it's reflection was in perfect focus. Good anyway. |

Through the Willowsby vtruanComment: For me the DOF is not shallow as the most part of the image (the bird and the water) is in fact in focus with a small part of the image (the grass or else) is clearly out of focus. When I look for shadow DOF i'm looking for a very small part of the image in focus. Exemple in this shot if the grass was in focus and the rest out of focus this would be shallow. Beside, I think this shot is good with the bird maybe only too near the center of the frame. |

Winter Berries 1by shutterpuppyComment: The shot in itself is beautifull but my eyes are going everywhere in that photo instead of being drawn to a strong subject wich is the point of Shallow DOF. Perhaps a closer composition with only a few berries in focus would have worked better. |

a` tempoby ivale28Comment: The composition looks fine to me and it certainly meet the challenge but I don't find the yellow cast very appealling. Perhaps it is the white balance that is somewhat off. |
