Weee...the joys of Spring!by SonifoComment: happy to say i'm one of the few to see this as a 10. i knew this wouldn't take a ribbon on this site, but i'm still disapointed to see where you ended up. you do some nice post work - thanks for the explanation.
in the real world i think a photo like this would wow most people, but around here there is such a trend set so firmly in place about what we are allowed and not allowed to like... don't let the lower scores get you down. this is a 10, all the way. great work! |

Fiddly Jobby sahkoComment: ooohh, you took my idea and then took it up a notch! this is definately a better example of chaos than what i've submitted, and might i add a much more attractive photograph. well done! |

Weee...the joys of Spring!by SonifoComment: beautiful use of high key! this site doesn't normally tolerate any kind of over-exposure, but i think people would have to be daft not to see this as anything other than extraordinary. great photo, vivid emotion, innocent and fun, interesting composition. good luck! |

Through The Looking Glassby kirkperComment: it took me a minute to see the effect you were trying to pull off here. i think it would have been more immediate if you'd included the fingers on her hand that are extended as far as where her face reaches as well.
its a really neat idea, but where this is a photography site these kinds of effect images don't normally go over so well.... |

Chips and Dip: A Square Meal?by GeneralEComment: oh man, i have so been there before. how many times has this consisted of my dinner? i'm a bit of a nachos and hummus fiend myself...
i like the composition and the angle - nice symetry with the tiles. the colors are a little flat - the green flecks in the dip are more than welcome - if you could have used a couple of the colored variety of nacho chips, like the red and green kind, it would have really punched up the image. this gets a strong 7 from me. |

war and moneyby SeanachaiComment: so true. great lighting, composition and set up. your use of toy soldiers really illustrates to me the way the lives of people are treated in the name of the almighty dollar |

College and Exhaustionby jrs915Comment: so true. this is a little soft looking. try bumping up the contrast a little in photoshop or using more dramatic lighting |
