Oh, that poor lemon, needing all that acupuncture, it must have been in so much pain! ;)

Very unique idea for the lemon, different, out of the box for sure. Points for that! The cropping leaves me just a little off though on the right, would have liked to seen just a little blue space there with the needles leading me out, just like they lead me in on the left. DOF is very well done, colors are sharp and clear. Tiny hot spot on the lemon but barely noticable. An 8

Yummy! That looks delicious! Is that a splace on the top? It's hard to tell, almost missed it. Lovely colors, the shadow is just muted enough not to distract but to add and the splash is a nice touch. But there seems to be a yellow bubble or something on the top that bugs me because the splash is more white while the area it's coming from is yellow and raised. It keeps my attention, that's for sure! ;) An 8

Interesting shot. I like the lines, the message, the overall feel of the shot. But the overall color or tone seems off just a tad, can't quite place my finger on it, let me look another second here.......okay, figured it out, it's the horizon on the right, the brightness is fighting the boat for attention but it's not all bad, it leads me back out of the shot after the boat has led me in and taken me all around. An 8

Back to you! This is a lovely image, the use of shadow and light, the power and passion all played out in one shot. Not to sure about the crop, I like the line leading in from the lower left corner, takes me into the lighted area, shows off the eagle and up to the controls of the power but then the crop on the bar leaves me just slightly off balance, but that can be a good thing too in a shot like this because after riding a bike like this you should be slightly winded and off balance. :) A great shot, a 9

Yellow Fellow

Okay, gotta comment on this fellow, :) I love the idea that you are willing to set up with the soft scarf, the delicate flower and the look on the face of someone who is soooooooooo close to cracking up, you can just see a pursing of the lips like he's trying so hard not to break out into a big wide grin but it's there in his eyes. :) The colors a little muted for my taste but it works very well for this shot. The balance of the shot, the lighting, all very well done. An 8

Soft Shades of Yellow

Yes they are, almost too soft, most come across with a more orange tinge than a yellow on my screen, which I did just adjust and calibrate. The soft focus is very well done and I'm usually not a big fan of soft focus but this one is so well done you get more a feeling of a billowy (is that a word) breeze than a fuzzy effect like most give you. Very nice overall but one other thing bugs me and that's the coloration in the top of the vase, not sure why but it keeps jumping out at me. I see now from the one flare on the left side of the vase it's from the sun light, and that is causing the hazy feel, that's the word, hazy, not billowy. But the haze works well here, an 8

This is a wonderful shot, not sure how well it really fits the challenge since the only yellow I'm really seeing is the blur in the front but because it's just so darn cute you still get an 8

Very good idea, good balance, nice use of color, not overpowered by the yellow peeps and unique idea. The handle of the fork could be moved just a bit so it comes right out of the corner to give this an almost perfect balance. But you still get an 8

HAHAHA! I LOVE IT! Very creative, well done, good lighting, unique idea! The only thing that bugs me is the corner of blue in the lower left, it's fighting for attention with the flower and paint. Other than that, which I'm going to forgive you for because this is by far my favorite so far you get a 10
