Gothenburg By Nightby MikaelComment: No crisp detail anywhere. It's a cityscape, but I can't really see any form except for the bridge. There seems to be too much sky because there are no deails in the dark sky. |

Louisville river frontby jaffyComment: There's a lot of shadow here...not much detail for use to see in the buildings.
The bridge seems to be the interesting piece of the subject, but it's feels out of focus.
The concrete/brick in the lower left leads us into the image well. Good usage.
The sunlight leads us in as well.
The clouds may be a bit bright.
Basically the exposure of this scene is very wide (bright brights to dark darks. This is hard to pull off. You'd need to step down .5 to 1 stops and use the Levels in PS to pull out the detail.

Wichita - Downtown at Sunsetby fsieradzkiComment: I never knew Wichita to be so nice :)
The reflection is nice, but the main piece of the photo is the hotel which is pretty simple. You've got warm light and calm waters.
You've split the image in half horizontally - try to avoid this. Some photos it'll work ok in, but only a few. |

afternoon reflections by tp-fcpComment: more than the reflections i like the colors. (needs perspective correction - beyond the rules of this challenge though)
Sky is a bit faint - I think levels and/curves would help you darken it without further darkening the water. |

Urban Landscapeby Dim7Comment: Nice colors/saturation. Crop the top..bad glare. Where is the center of attention? It almost feels like the almost hidden church, but since it's out of focus, it then feels a little like the orange tree on the bottom left.
Give the image a better title to help our eyes. :)
Good shot. |

Wow...Some Great Security Measures!by SimplicityComment: Could have gone with a better angle (closer to ground, closer to a rail) to help pull the eye's focus between the "beware of dog" and the open gate.
Not a bad idea though.
