Thai Boat Silhouetteby michael_pComment: The composition is perfect, but the colors are not. I realize that there's little you could do about that, and it looks like the post processing has attempted to mitigate this with some success, but I remain unpersuaded by the tints. 7 from me. |

Early morningby KaizerComment: This is quite lovely. I think it suffers from a bit of what I'm going to call "under-effect" that I suspect is probably the result of somewhat less-than-striking composition. The colors of the water and the mud on the shore being essentially the same has a lot to do with this, I suspect. If I were you, I would draw greater attention to the leopard's (is that what atht is?) colors by experimenting with greater saturation of the subject and some selective desaturation of the surrounding environment. That, I suspect, could take this lovely composition and turn it into something truly fabulous. 6 from me. |

Life's Workby hvauxComment: Man...this is definitely one of my fav's. It looks like something that should be on the book jacket of a novel, don't you think? |

Portrait of Past and Present --> (Horses and Cars)by meetpdComment: Very nice composition. Burn that left horse's features and the reins to contrast it better against the light, and maybe blur that background with the vehicles, and I think you'd have an even stronger and more striking piece of work. |

Olivia - Portrait of an Artistby faeryComment: Lovely shot with a beautiful subject. Would have been far better with some enhanced contrast and some creative editing to lighten that far wall. |

Sunshineby nards656Comment: Your post-processing her looks a bit over-compensatory, especially around the eyes, where it looks like an unsharp mask or noise tool was used a bit to liberally. Composition is otherwise quite strong. |

Unforgiven IIby kiumars_kashaniComment: Whoa those are some bright highlights in her face. I would strongly suggest diffusing the glow on this shot to soften those fine details in her face, which are not very attractive at this proximity. Compositionally, I really like the cropping. 4 from me. |

My Sleeping Beautyby Demento_1974Comment: I'm going to hope this was MEANT to look like it was taken from the inside of a casket. If not, be warned that this looks like a post-mortem shot--probably because the soft focus, her pillow and the background of the bed, not to mention the position of her hands, all remind me so much of a viewing of an open casket. Otherwise, this is a fine piece of work. 6 from me. |
