A Night of Restby NicNic101Comment: The kitties are beautiful, I really like the smokey one! I did find the photo a bit difficult though because of the blurred aspect of it. I don't know if that was a deliberate choice, but for me it detracts from the photograph, over emphasizing the softness of the cats' fur and making it a strain to see detail. |

Sleeping Beautyby visitorComment: I love the composition of this photograph. Its very earthy and has a natural feel to it, plus it evokes serenity and rest to me perfectly - and in a rather unique way. Where is this taken? I love it! |

there! in the corner!by sainazComment: I liked the idea behind this photograph, but I did find the intense light by the door a bit distracting. Also, while I definitely like the 'distance' shot, it did seem a little too far away making it hard to see much detail of the person in the corner. Still, a good shot. :) |

Friendsby fotomann_foreverComment: I really like this photograph. To me it gives an excellent feeling of peace, as the outer-ring of people all appear to be in the the process of an action (laughing) and yet the focus, and clarity is on the young lady looking directly at the camera. That gives me a sense of stillness and calm - much like those moments you read about where two people make eye contact and the world stands still. I'm not sure if that's what you were going for, but that's what it evoked to me. :) |

Jackby TarbiniComment: This little guy is all over adorable. But beyond that I love the difference of color between him and the chair or whatever it is he's sleeping on. His face is definitely what draws your attention and the focus on it is excellent in my opinion. Great job! |

Dreams of a Nut - Absurdby tariqueComment: The more I look at this photo, the more it draws me in. I definitely like the contrast in the colors and the shapes, as well as the inherent fragileness of the egg compared to the strength depicted in the chair and figure. The color is very nice. It does seem a bit fuzzy though I do not know if this was intentional or a result of downsizing - regardless it does give it a dreamlike quality. Excellent job! |

Digging In This Termite Mound Is Hard Workby RHoldenSrComment: The subject just screams personality. I like the detail in his/her fur and the orangey color as well. He looks as if he was purposely posed for a portrait picture! I even like the black border which to me holds the picture together nicely. The lil bugger sure looks pleased with himself! |

Sweet dreamsby irenesComment: I gave this a bit lower score than it may have gotten otherwise, because for my tastes it is cropped a bit too small. especially since the cat is mostly dark with little highlight. It took me a few seconds to figure out it was even a cat, at first my eyes saw a pig! Don't ask me why! ... so my suggestion would be to allow a bit more of the cat to be visible. |

Waiting To Be Refuelledby glimpsesComment: I love the look of light on glass, this photograph seems to diffuse the light very well. I'm no expert but it has a crispness to it and even though it's not a real car I have this feeling of an impatient wait to get refueled so it can go. Perhaps because of the blurred background? Or I could just be insane! ;) |

Guitarist at restby bormicComment: I very much like this image. Particularly since it evokes rest to me, as most guitarists' hands are very busy with their craft. Only suggestion I can think of is a slightly tighter crop so the bits of color in the corners were gone (keeping the background black with the hands and guitar standing out), but really that's being picky probably. Nice strong image! |
