Nice photo. I'm not fond of orange but I think in this case I actually like the shade you chose for the background. The image is interesting though I find my interest less in the subject (the peas) and more in the nice crystal goblet. Nice clarity. I like the color pop versus the desaturated surroundings. Composition is nice, I wonder how it would look if that bottle had peas in it though as if they'd been poured out from there. This has a nice story to it and there are areas that could be very interesting. The only problem I see is the lighting and focus. The light on the table is too harsh IMO. Also the focus seems soft on the cards, though some of that could be from smoke? More control of the light and a deeper focus might improve this shot. Also I'm getting a sense of the image having an odd tilt that throws me off. I gave a 4

Heh, at first I couldn't tell what the heck you were referring to in your title but I see him now. Nice catch. The flames are very nice, great movement and shape. The lighting looks good and the focus is good though I wish it were even sharper. There's complexity in the flames but simplicity in the composition. I like it but it doesn't reach out and grab me or give me that instant "wow" feeling. I gave a 5
