A Patch of Blue

Hard to know how to judge this one. The photo is gorgeous! But...the little bit of blue in the sky doesn't speak to me as a burst of color that is offsetting anything. So I have judge the photo in the context of the challenge but I think I will only deduct a point cause I love the photo so much. Maybe I should focus more on the challenge category but nahhh. I love this.

It is amazing how a title can impact a photo. This is a great photo but would have said so much more if it had a better title like "senior dance" (or something better than that). This looks like an old foot (because of the wrinkles) in a ballet position.

Color is supposed to offset your subject from the rest of the photo. There isn't one burst of color that offsets. The color is all around.

Had to rate this lower due to the distracting background. Better if you had held a black piece of paper behind the flower. Light on flower nice but my eye wanders from that tot he blue and purple tops in the background.

I really like this photo but don't really see a "burst of color" just a little bit of a red tie. The offset in this photo is more the monochrome suit and shirt against the gold background not the red tie. That is just a small addition to the photo...not the color offset which was the challenge.
