cool shot - it coveys more emotion than I thought pumpkins could! =`) looks like the pumpkin in the back is (as nelly would say) scuurred of the "evil" pump up front. I can't tell what is illuminated in the back...is it a table? At first I didn't think that I liked it, but when I "covered" it, I realized that its necessary. And I'm usually not one for borders...but this one works well. Nice work.

Anyways, just going through the aforementioned list tryin' to keep up with everyones work, and thought I drop my two cents on your pic. I think its technically very sound and can't really think of anything that could be better - Nice work.

cool shot lisa - i love night photography and appreciate the effect you were going for here. My only suggestion would be to line up the benches at the bottom ( kind of creating a centered upside down v with the two benches and cutting out the third one on the right - this would lead your eyes a little better out into the frame imo) Just a thought. Didn't get a chance to vote on this one - but you would have gotten a 7 from me. Cool shot.

14th? is there no justice on this site? i had you down for a ten...you and arnit for his rocker pick that came in 3rd...there were picks that placed higher that didn't IMO even touch your sense of lighting...which was the challenge i thought??? you were robbed man. truly great photograph - I just wanted to say thanks for sharing it.

i'd call your pic spartan, in a peloponesian butt kicking way....but that would be too much of a pun =`) So I'll just say that I love the composition and the (what appears to be) intentional high iso setting to create a pleasant noise to the pic. Nice work. BTW if you meant hoplite in an athenean way - I meant no disrespect by assuming you meant a spartan hoplite.

great shot - catching a deer like this who knows your there is hard. The lighting and mood are excellent - good idea to go for the silhouette as opposed to trying to "light" the foreground. Nice work.
