| great shot - catching a deer like this who knows your there is hard. The lighting and mood are excellent - good idea to go for the silhouette as opposed to trying to "light" the foreground. Nice work. |

| This is quite a wonderfully peaceful shot, and the colors also make it interesting. The gradient sky is wonderful, meeting the ocean with a sort of misty feel. I'm also a sucker for silhouettes, and the woodland foreground is nicely sharp and detailed even though it is a silhouette. The contrast between foreground and background almost looks unreal. |

| maybe compose it a bit differently to use the deer to get the Rule of Thirds effect, overall a very good picture |

| Wow, you really lucked out with the deer, she makes this shot a cut above. Can\'t tell where she\'s looking, it\'s probably at you, but I\'ll pretend she\'s enjoying the beautiful sunset :) I wish there was less room behind her and more in front, so she would be stepping into the frame instead of out of it. |

| Patience must be a virtue you have in abundance, either that or luck :). I feel that the silhouette of the deer and trees are emphasized by the muted use of color. They aren't the normal "in your face" sunset colors, they're very subtle...beautiful. This is a fantastic shot and I hope it wins! |
