Interesting and creative idea, and it fits the challenge nicely. However, your technicals need some work. The shot it out of focus and very grainy. The lighting is very flat--looks like it was from directly in front, which along with the dead-center composition, is simply not very creative.

Your toughts definately show potential--you just need to work on the basics. Keep shooting!

Nice shot, good focus, and I'm a fan of the all-white backgrounds, especially for shots like this. My only suggestion is to splash some water droplets on the cherry, to give it that wet, fresh look (a classic technique in food photography). 8.

Wow--you're lucky. I almost gave this a low score without really looking. Now I see it--very clever. The concept is great, but technically the photo needs some work. The lighting makes all the props look washed out, and sharpness could be better. You'd get an 8 for the concept and a 4 for the photography aspect, so I'm giving you a 6.
