Both of these kids seem more interested in something happening off camera than in participating in the shot. Cropping the image so close to the girl's eyes emphasizes the fact that she's looking elsewhere.

Something about the composition here doesn't feel right. There seems to be a lot of visual clutter used to convey the idea that a poker game is in progress. I would have liked this shot better if it had been cropped so that the cards were closer to the bottom left corner. This would eliminate some of the foreground items which both steal attention from the subject (the kings) and offer only redundant information ('poker game in progress').

I'd like to rate this higher, but the two reported subjects are both indistinct blurs. Aah, the joys of photographing in low light.

When I first looked at this image my eye followed the curve of the glass down to the bottom right corner, only to find that the focus was sharpest where the subject was the least interesting. I think that either the reflection on the glass should have crisp focus, allowing the blue to serve as the background, or that the blue should be the focal point.

What was your light source for this picture? What did you use to apply the water to the glass?

The left half of the "B" isn't as discriminable from the background as I'd like to see. I like the depth effect created by holding the glass a bit above the surface below.

Goblets with tinted stems, viewed from inside the cup? Intriguing perspective.

The top of the iris seems a bit too shadowy. Very crisp detail on the rest of the eye though.

I really like this picture, but I can't help but wonder how blue it was before filtration / post-processing.

This is a very elegant looking bit of glass. What does the whole thing look like?
