What a tranquil scene you present here. Let's see,you're on the east coast, so is that a sunrise? In any event, your framing is nice with the pier on one side and the nice bar of surf in the foreground, and those luscious colors in the sky.

I think you probably wanted the surf line to stand in for bubbles, and perhaps if you were able to bring that lens closer, and tighter, they might well have. Unfortunately, that very very hot sun is competing strongly for attention and it takes a 2nd or even 3rd look to find the shadowy surf. The sun is a tough target at any angle, but at the horizon it really is a challenge.

I wish you good luck in your future entries and expect you will be scoring right up there with the best of 'em any day now.
