 I would like to have my image critiqued on my editing work. I have submitted the original to DPChallenge via the "submit original" link (although I don't know if you can get to that one or not). If you need another I would be happy to submit it. My editing step are as follows...
1. Convert from NEG (RAW)
2. Crop
3. Auto Smartfix (PS Elements 4.0)
4. Adjust Brightness/Contrast
5. Adjust Hue/Saturation
6. FocusMagic (in an attempt to bring the forground upper wing tip into focus)
7. NeatImage (to clean up the artifacts)
8. FocusMagic (again trying to get that wingtip a little clearer)
9. NeatImage (to clean it up)

That's it, any additional input would be appreciated.

BTW: The flowers are white with a fuschia center. I would have like to have left more detail there, but decided to focus on the butterfly. If you can help me do both while keeping within the "Basic Editing" rules, I would appreciate it.

wonderfully rich smooth backgroun - but it almost seems like the whole image was processed too much with neat image/ noise ninja to get this effect. also, the outer edge of the flower is very jagged

Looks like you overdid the noise reduction quite a bit. The butterfly looks like plastic (which I assumes it's not). Would have been a lot better with a more natural look imo.
