Unfortunately, I find the tree in the foreground (splitting the frame) to be a bit distracting. I like the lone figure in the woods, enjoying the experience of being there.

I can understand what you were going for with the tree in the foreground but i feel that it detracts more from the impact of the image than it adds. Maybe if it weren't so close in the foreground it would have more success in adding to the image.

Perfect capture of a simple pleasure. The reflections in the water enhance and add peacefulness to the photograph. The red sweatshirt ties all of the elements together. Best of luck in this challenge. This is a first place quality photograph. You have my vote. 10

Scored you in my top six. This image makes me wish I could be there to see him make a really big splash. You know he is going to do it. I can see the smile from here. Nice choice of subject for this challenge.

If this was shot horizontally with an eye to the rule of thirds it would be a great shot. The idea is good. Having the boy to jump and splash a bit would also benefit this.
