Baskingby DigitalGravyComment by p_johns: There are too many hot spots on this photograph. If your camera has exposure lock and is able to be changed to spot, you should set it to spot and take your reading from the brightest point of the photo - ie the lizards back. Otherwise its taking the luminance of the entire photo and takes it to 17% gray (or something like that) Could have been a great shot otherwise! |

Baskingby DigitalGravyComment by Chez: Lizards very light, if you have spot metering use it next time to spot the light subject or a midtone for light measurement of your shot. |

Archesby DigitalGravyComment by Nusbaum: You got the repetition and the composition flows off to the left nicely. I think you need to wait for some more interesting lighting to pick this up a little. The bright spot on the left pulls away from the arches, but just a little. |

Archesby DigitalGravyComment by ellamay: I find the pavement and concrete problematic in this shot. I think it may have been a stronger image taken from the front, higlighting only the arches on top and shrubs on bottom. Just a thought. |

Archesby DigitalGravyComment by EL-ROI: You got the eye for the challenge! Maybe taking this at a different time of the day would have made it more striking. The shadow takes something away from this for me. |

JL AUDIO Bumpsby DigitalGravyComment by alanfreed: I like the idea of capturing the speaker in motion as the bass moves it... but I think this may have been stronger had you included more of the speaker. This way, the rest of the speaker would have been in focus, providing emphasis on the blurred woofer as it moves. |

Falling Rocks - Floating Signby DigitalGravyComment by justine: CC:
Hi DigitalGravy
_________________
Fits The Challenge-No, doubt about it!!
Composition-Very nice, the sign appears to be floating. It's centered and framed with good taste.
Background-N/A
Digital Processing-Must be done well, because I don't see a lot of it. I'm almost always impressed with the Sony DSC-F717.
My Opinion-Angeles National Forrest over the 'grapevine'. That's traffic. It's also very pretty if you like high desert and I do. I've never done it at night. This isn't a very exciting sign, and it's not humors but what this is, is a good photograph. It's clean, crisp and clear with good color, focus and composition while meeting the challenge.
SO not too much to add here really. I did enjoy looking at your photo.
