Day 30 Baseball in 1884by lilkarebearComment by Art Roflmao: Ahh yes, I remember those days - things were very different then - nobody used gloves, the base runners would always round the bases counter-clockwise (3-2-1-Home), the outfielders would always run in opposite directions no matter where the ball was headed, the shortstop was always a tall guy and was never allowed to face the infield until the runner passed second base and there was always a banker or raliroad magnate standing in the field watching the game. ;-)

Day 24 Butterflyby lilkarebearComment by ephln: Not to worry...the butterflies will return and you will get many more shots at this.
I put a hummingbird feeder outside my bedroom slider..and had much the same experience. Sat around waiting for the darn hummingbird...finally got off some shots...and the fence was focused in great...lol
The hummingbird was a lovely green blur. |

Day 24 Butterflyby lilkarebearComment by suemack: LOL they always are the best ones. I learned the hard way to always put the CF card back in the camera as soon as I finished transferring the photos off it. Headed across to Dargaville to take stock car photos, got there (hour travelling) and discovered the card was still on the kitchen table. Did have a tiny spare in the bag ..... it only held 28 photos!!
Hopefully the butterfly will be back for you tomorrow. |

Day 18 Foot Showerby lilkarebearComment by sfalice: Sometimes the utilitarian goes unseen. This is a joy to look at and the contrast between the rough wood, sand and smooth metal is a dividend. |
