Greenpointby paha_lComment by arngrimur: I like the idea. Perhaps a square crop leaving the green light and the car on the left would simplify thins and make a stronger impact. -7 |

Worktableby paha_lComment by Falc: This theme is becoming a bit of a cliche now.
Nicely executed though |

Worktableby paha_lComment by Art Roflmao: You were probably just dying to find a challenge to use this technique in and gave up waiting. :) Cool technique and good execution of it. |

great-grandmotherby paha_lComment by Xilebo: The colorless image of the grandmother makes this composition all the more meaningful, I like it a lot |

great-grandmotherby paha_lComment by joro: At first, I found the monitor a bit distracting, and then I realized that was likely a second "old and new" aspect of the picture--the old photo on the computer screen. I think the three elements in the photo (the old woman, the child and the monitor) make it difficult to find the right elements to emphasize. I find my eyes pulled towards the monitor buttons instead of the child, for instance. I wonder if there would have been some other way of conveying the fact the photo was on a monitor but de-emphasizing the monitor portion so that the two people in the picture have focus? |

Breaking spaceby paha_lComment by Rooster: i like this shot. I think there is too much light in it tho. Perhaps a faster shutter speed, lower iso or larger ap. might have brought out more details in the overexposed part. Regradless, good stuff! |
