I really like this photograph & am surprised that it didn't do better in the challenge. Perhaps a slightly different angle would have done better, but still one of my favourites due to the content. |

At first, I found the monitor a bit distracting, and then I realized that was likely a second "old and new" aspect of the picture--the old photo on the computer screen. I think the three elements in the photo (the old woman, the child and the monitor) make it difficult to find the right elements to emphasize. I find my eyes pulled towards the monitor buttons instead of the child, for instance. I wonder if there would have been some other way of conveying the fact the photo was on a monitor but de-emphasizing the monitor portion so that the two people in the picture have focus? |

Cool way to present your idea, the monitor looks slightly tilted to me but grandma look straight ....anyway I like it. |
