    Having a background in sports, especially swimming I know of no truer statement. I enjoy listening to music - old and new. New technologies (such as MP3 players) in particular fascinate me due to my interest in IT. I got into photography around February 2003 after purchasing my first camera - the FujiFilm F401. Having spent a lot of money buying the camera I decided to learn how to use it "properly". From that day on my interest in photography has grown stronger and stronger.

    I've been lurking in the background watching this site from time to time but not ever daring to submit. Now I feel a little more confident about my abilities I've decided to take the plunge and start submitting! Aims for this year so far are:

    - Aim to submit to at-least one challenge per week
    - Get my average votes to 6
    - Get into the top 50s for a challenge
    - Learn, make friends and be a part of the DCP community!
