Prior to this shot, I've done 3 self portraits on DPC. They received a 5.4, 5.6, and 5.8.

Now there's a strange people challenge, and I have a 6.68 going!

I've found my niche.

I'm strange!

About the photo: So -- it was a day where I had very little time and a very big headache. The only idea I had was to take a picture of me in a purple feathered mardi gras mask and see if I could do something with it.

Absolutely not. It looked incredibly dumb.

During the self portrait phase in the morning, I did two shots without the mask for lighting and focus testing.

I grabbed one of those and wondered if I had taken anything during the week that I could use, since the headache was too bad to actually go looking for something.

Two days before I had done a shot for letters a-z:

I grabbed the top of the i and went from there.

Completely and totally shock that people are liking this -- and two favs?? That's so awesome!

I also thought the dried hydrangea blossoms looked like butterflies. In either case it is s magnificent and creative image. WTG Wendy.
